On April 6th, the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, marking the importance of sports in bringing people together, volunteers from PS4L organized a fun afternoon for them, full of sports activities and laughter.
The event was organized for all the kids of the village and split into two parts: the first half for the little ones, and the second for the kids older than 10 years. More than 80 energetic kids, girls, and boys, rushed from school to change into their sports outfits and join us on the field on a sunny afternoon. Each group participated in following activities: Zumba and body shape with bouncy Marwa, football games (balling, supermarket) with Suad and Hussam, teambuilding activities (watermelon eating competition, jump rope, water balloons) with Nour, basketball games with Amani and a football game with Alaa and Momen. Big thanks to our coaches for taking time off to come all the way from Tulkarem, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Jerusalem.
