On the 9th of November, Tamara Awartani and Sameh Al Masri led a four-day Training of Trainers (TOT) in Jordan as a way to evolve and expand the Sports of Development Program. The importance of this training camp is a major step towards international unity as it unified and combined 25 trainers from different regions that came to muster and implement the program. Recognizing the importance of this program, participants from Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Spain, and Germany were represented with advanced methods on how to use the S4D program, and evolve their experience for better outcome towards their countries and communities. Moreover, our two expert trainers Majdi Abdullah, and Renad Reyad had the privilege to represent Palestine, and PS4L. The GIZ in Jordan, the German DFB, and S4L put along a schedule that aims to improve the trainer’s skills. The four-day camp tackled sensitive aspects such as social inclusion/cohesion, inclusive and effective reflection methods, education of adults, and last but not least, the important way of improvising and creating educational games that delivers a life message. Moreover, this program was given away from football and with the usage of handball and basketball. this was to show that all sports are fit to be a part of the S4D program. To succeed in the S4D program, and ensure in delivering a smooth its aims and goals, such TOT’s are needed and encouraged.
