Overview
Palestine Sports for Life (PS4L) is proudly participating in the Palestine Marathon 2026 through its girls’ running team, as part of the Building Palestinian Girls’ and Young Women’s Resilience Through Running Program, implemented in partnership with Free to Run.
This participation reflects PS4L’s commitment to empowering girls and young women in Palestine through sport, strengthening their physical and mental resilience, and creating safe spaces for growth, leadership, and self-expression.
Team Participation
This year, PS4L will be represented by 23 girls from different areas across the West Bank:
- 9 participants from Jalazone Refugee Camp – Ramallah
- 2 participants from Beit Ummar – Hebron
- 12 participants from Dura – Hebron
Significance of Participation
The Palestine Marathon is more than a sporting event—it is a powerful national platform that highlights resilience, freedom of movement, and the right to run.
Through their participation, PS4L girls will represent stories of strength, determination, and hope, while joining thousands of runners from Palestine and around the world.
Our Message
At PS4L, we believe that running is not only a sport—it is a tool for empowerment, healing, and resistance.
Our girls run to challenge barriers, build confidence, and make their voices heard.
