Vocational Education Orientation Days in Jordan Valley

PS4L in cooperation with GIZ organized a sports and educational event in Jordan valley on December 2nd and 3rd to bring together the youth from Fasayil, Al-Jiftlik, az-Zubaidat, al-Auja, No’am and Duq.

We invited a hundred youth aged 15-17, girls and boys, to participate in a sports and life skills event on Friday in az-Zubaidat and on a vocational education orientation day at the YMCA Technical College on Saturday.

Our aim was to show the youth of Jordan valley in a fun way the opportunities for learning a profession in a nearby vocational school in Jericho and increasing their chances for their future careers.

The workshops included hands-on experience in the Jericho vocational school, giving the youth a chance to try how it would be to study and work in their field of interest.
