PS4L in cooperation with the GIZ implemented on behalf of BMZ is happy to announce that the three consecutive days of vocational orientation has been concluded and wrapped up with huge success! For three days, our trainers joined a total of 320 young participants from Nablus, Ramallah, and Halhoul on an educational journey. Our participants from both genders visited three different vocational schools in their seeking of further quality education. Palestine Technical University in Ramallah, Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, and the Vocational Training Center of Halhoul were the hosts for the three days, and showed a great responsibility and hospitality in showing, explaining, and touring through the different workshops in order to give our future leaders the full background and knowledge on the different workshops, and how to get enrolled in the different universities and colleges. Workshops such as mechanics, cooling and heating, ceramics, graphic design, photography, proxy designing, hairdressing, arts, cloth design, and a lot more were offered to the young participants. In addition, our trainers held the responsibility to give sports and life-skills sessions, as it is set, designed, and fixed to help the youth in their future and choices. The importance of the life-skills sessions are embedded within; as it is a great technique used by our trainers in order to teach and indicate to very important skills that will help in schools, work opportunities and employability, lives, and also it is a positive reflection on the society as a unit. The participants had the opportunity to participate and enjoy sport-sessions that also offered soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, perseverance, trust and self-trust, communication skills, decision-making, and more. We want to thank everyone that took part from teachers, trainers, participants, partners, and coordinators for making the three days a huge success. Photos and albums are coming up.
