A Distinctive Sports Session Full of Life Skills

On March 2019, PS4L Organization, in cooperation with GIZ, implemented on behalf of BMZ, conducted "Learn to Play-Play to Learn" session in Al- ‘Adawiyah School- Tulkarm. The three- day session which consisted of 15 males and females trainees aimed at the first hand to highlight the relationship between sports and development and the role of sports in teaching life skills, on the other. Learn to play and play to learn session is built on two frameworks; theoretical and practical part. In both parts, youths’ problems in Palestine and the world, life skills from sports, sports in education, equality, and health education were intensively highlighted.  However, the practical side was led by two trainers: Mo’men Al- Masri and Majdi Abdallah and focused on exercises that enhance communications, ability to face challenges, and problem- solving through playing both of Rugby and Flying disc.
