Skills4Sports Opening Conference in Malta

On December 2nd, PS4L representatives Sameh Masri and Rana Khawaldeh attended and participated in the 2-day Skills4Sports opening conference and meeting in Malta. Within the meetings, 6 sports organizations from the Mediterranean area, including PS4L, discussed their roles within their region, brainstormed new ways for organizations to collaborate, and evaluated the gaps within the sports sector found in their communities.

These sessions were a stepping stone to developing a program that will increase the job opportunities of NEETS (youth not in education, employment, or training) by strategically developing solutions for the gaps and needs in the sports sector.

Throughout the month of December, PS4L initiated a social media campaign informing NEET sports enthusiasts of the launch of Skills4Sports project and PS4L continued to collect data on the gaps found in the sports sector in Palestine. Learn more about the skills for sports project. The informative Skills4Sports campaign will continue throughout January 2022 across all PS4L social media platforms.
