International Women's Month
During International Women's Month, PS4L highlighted 12 Palestinian women professionals in various fields in the sports sector. From professional athletes, coaches, professors and administrative directors, PS4L showed the diversity of women breaking barriers in the sports labor market in Palestine. Each women in sport shared her journey, background and significance in finding other women in sports to spark inspiration and community change. PS4L is a partner organization implementing the Skills4Sports project, alongside 6 other organizations in the Mediterranean region. Skills4Sports is funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC MED programme, a project that aims to increase the employment of NEETs (persons not in employment, education or training) in the sports sector. Through these Palestinian sportswomen, it highlighted the significance in attaining skills and the opportunities in finding work within different sectors in the labor market in Palestine.
You can find these 12 women's inspirational journeys on our Facebook and Instagram page.
