Yusuf – From Hesitation to Confidence
Yusuf initially found it difficult to participate in play and sports activities because of difficulty moving one of his hands. He was often hesitant to try unfamiliar activities and less comfortable joining his peers.
Through the Temporary Learning Space (TLS), Yusuf participated in play-based learning and supportive sports activities delivered by Palestine Sports for Life (PS4L). With encouragement and the opportunity to participate at his own pace, he gradually started joining his friends, trying new activities and recognising what he was capable of doing.
Over time, Yusuf became noticeably more confident and engaged. He now participates more willingly and enjoys taking part in activities with other children.
